For Tse, photography is a cherished process of seeing. Her practice is one that touches all elements of wonder, whimsy, and shadow. Her approach to art is to re-envision elements in nature, reflection, architecture, and even decay.
Inspired by her love of novelty to see with a fresh eye, Tse was attracted to how beauty and intrigue can exist in elements of abandoned decay through photography, and decay can take on new meaning through visual acceptance. Through attending to abandoned elements with an openness undenied by previous notions of what to, and what not to look at, Tse finds herself simultaneously grounded and lifted by such creative experiences. A contrast; a curve. A feeling. A paradigm shift.
Rounding these corners with her muses in various playgrounds of intricate visual delights, camera-to-face, Tse strongly believes that creation is a continuous process that does not end with her photograph on the wall. As such, through her artistic witnessing of nature, decay, and abstracts, Tse endeavors to funnel visual sparks for experiential freshness, soothing, inner reckoning, discovery and strength through the pupils of those who attend her works.
