Kevin Wilson’s inspiration to create started back in his high school in Winnipeg, Manitoba. After classes at Sturgeon Creek Regional Secondary School, Kevin began teaching himself how to airbrush through trial and error. Originally painting on canvas, he then moved on to motorcycles, helmets, vehicles, and pretty much anything else that could be painted. The motorcycle paint jobs have been critically successful, and many have won awards in shows, including some first place awards.
Kevin’s preferred medium has always been metal; from steel to aluminum. His newest pieces of work consist of a collaboration of shapes and colors and custom airbrushing. He is always trying new things and making new pieces, and all his art is freehand and original. Kevin now resides in Edmonton, Alberta.
In 2013, Kevin teamed up with 2 other local artists from Winnipeg to create The Creative Collective art group. For 2 years, the group showcased various independent local artists ranging from a tattoo artist to a housewife that produced all kinds of mixed multimedia.
