KAZIMIR SIMPSON

I was born in Edmonton and moved to Vancouver two years ago. I've always been fascinated with the Human face and the way we perceive them. My pieces loosely borrow from the De Stijl movement that involved such artists as Piet Mondrian. My other pieces revolve around my Christian upbringing and all the indoctrination that was forced upon me as a kid. I use the cross to spread my own garbage just as the church does and continues to do and in some way reduce it’s power. International Business graduate with a year spent at the University of Alberta for Fine Arts.
