Arnaldo was born in Caracas in 1976, but now lives and works in Vancouver. In 1997 he started his path into photography while studying architecture in Caracas at the “Universidad Simon Bolivar”. Since the beginnings of his artist career Arnaldo has been blending photography, sculpture and digital media as a distinctive language focusing on basic human emotions, looking for experience building blocks that allow him to convey different aspects of the human condition.

At an early stage in his career Arnaldo decided to leave Venezuela for a better future, leaving behind his network and all the attention received by his first exhibition in 2004: “Soledades Habitadas” (inhabited solitudes). Since then his work has evolved towards photographic spaces reflecting our relationship with consumerist culture, making an emphasis in innuendos so embedded in our lives that we forget.
