Ellen Bradley-Cheung  worked as a registered nurse for nearly 10 years but has taken time off to raise her two daughters.  Raised in Nova Scotia, she now live in Surrey, BC with her family.  Ellen has always sketched, but started putting colour to canvas in 2002 .  She has participated in solo and group art shows, live painting competitions and taught at the Neighbourhood Art Studio.

She paints in acrylic and oil, depending on what inspires her. She paints nearly every day whether it is her own art or sharing her love of art with children and adults through painting parties/workshops. People who have never painted before or have not painted for years discover the joy of putting colour to canvas.

Ellen loves to paint nature, cities and faces in her ever changing style.  Influences include,  the Masters, Group of Seven, Mary Pratt, Alex Coville and almost every painter she has had the honour of painting with. Everyone has something to offer, adults and children alike.
